Meet Our Teachers

Courtney Josh - PRoducer/Director

Performing since a young age, Courtney started off as a karaoke queen and then found her way onto the stage. She is now a full-time musician, teaching musical theatre and private singing lessons during the week, and gigging on the weekends.

Her musical theatre debut was Hairspray with The Regal’s (2015). She then moved to behind the scenes work when she became Musical Director for Reefer Madness with Rockdale Musical Society (2016). In 2018 she performed in Engadine’s We Will Rock You - which she claims was the most challenging performance yet, being thrown into a lead role the day of opening night. In 2018 she also found herself in her first lead role playing Sherrie for Regal’s Rock Of Ages. Courtney is also now directing The Regal’s next junior show - Cats Abridged Edition (May 2019). 

Courtney began singing and performing at a young age, having always been eager to turn her passion into her profession. Courtney has been teaching since 2011, with private/group singing lessons, musical theatre classes, acting workshops and forming her own business in 2013. Courtney has completed several cruise ship contracts, toured Australia with her original band, and continues to perform on a regular basis, at corporate functions, events around Australia and in theatre. Courtney crafted BC Performing Arts to offer a range of services in entertainment, an teaching will continue to be a strong focus of BC Performing Arts, as she aims to inspire and build confidence and knowledge in young performers.
Courtney and Montana created a musical theatre program, designed to help young performers at different levels and build or enhance their skills in theatre.


Montana May Josh, has been a performer since a young age, starring in plays and musicals in both London and Sydney. Montana has been teaching theatre and acting since 2013, whilst continuing to perform. She recently finished a Bachelor of Film at SAE, and is excited to pursue a career in the film industry, hoping to also continue her passion of teaching. Montana has worked with BC Performing Arts for 5 years on previous shows, acting classes and showcases. 

Aaron gobby - Musical theatre COACH

Aaron is a graduate of the Victorian College of The Arts (VCA) 2016 Musical Theatre Foundation Program as well as the 2017 Diploma of Musical Theatre from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Aaron made his professional debut in ‘Cry Baby The Musical’ at the Hayes Theatre as a whiffle and featured ensemble member. In the same year he also became part of the Green Light Process Workshop for DvA The Musical, originating the role of ‘Norak’. At NIDA Aaron was given the opportunity to perform with Sydney Theatre Company’s production of ‘Chimerica’ directed by Kip Williams along with various Cabaret shows, music videos and short films.

DARCY o’LOUGHLIN - Musical theatre COACH

Darcy has grown up performing in musicals, playing roles including ‘Tess Tyler’ in Camp Rock 2, ‘Glinda’ in Wicked, and ‘Elle Woods’ in Legally Blonde, just to name a few. She then studied a Diploma or Music Theatre at Sydney’s prestigious school ‘Brent Street’ in 2016 which took her overseas to New York and Los Angeles to continue her training and was then accepted into the National Institute of Dramatic Arts. Darcy is now furthering her studies with a Bachelor or Entertainment Business Management at JMC and purses her love for teaching kids music theatre and loves watching her students grow and shine on stage.
